Bookfest 2018 -2019
There are over 40 students involved in Bookfest from grades 4 - 7. Bookfest is a celebration of reading 6 - 8 titles, chosen by Teacher Librarians in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows each year. At the end of the Bookfest Challenge, students from a number of elementary schools get together to challenge each other's knowledge of the books and to share their love of reading!
After Bookfest these incredible books will be available for all students to read.

We have our teams reading! The books are being read, shared and enjoyed.
Students are encouraged to jot ideas for discussion down on stickee notes or in a binder/duotang. Keep notes as you read, note the details of your story.
Remember, you are becoming the expert on your book!
